It's a boy!

Not for me, I already have four - just wanted to clarify  ;)

There IS going to be the pitter patter of tiny feet in Davenport, Iowa, though.  One of my best friends is going to become a great aunt soon, and with the baby shower happening next Sunday, these cookies were carefully wrapped, packed, and sent off in the mail.

I do love making baby cookies.

Since my baby is almost 14 now, it is a treat to find myself back in the world of BABY.

Every once in a while, I even walk through the baby department at a store and soak up all of the cuteness.

In my dream land, I would have had a baby carriage like this one.

SNIPS AND SNAILS AND PUPPY DOG TAILS
THAT'S WHAT LITTLE BOYS ARE MADE OF.

I am pretty sure I will love being a grandma some day!

  3. The intricate details on your art work (I do consider these works of art) never ceases to amaze me.

Just an FYI having grand magnificents is just the best. It makes all those sleepsless nights with our own babes totally worthwhile.

  8. You will be an incredible grandmother! There's nothing like it either. I never knew what all the fuss was about...did not understand until Alex entered the world and I melted. I think God must give us another heart too. Feels like you can't love anyone more than your own kids and yet the love for the grands is something else! :-)

Oh, and by the way, the cookies are adorable!
