That sound you heard

If you heard screaming last night coming from the Philadelphia area, it was me.  Isabelle, Drew, Genevieve, and I went to the Eastern State Penitentiary Terror Behind Walls haunted attraction.  It was the scariest and most intense thing of this sort I have ever done.  I am a known screamer, but I wasn't alone in straining the vocal chords.   This place is scary even without the actors, and people say they get the creeps on regular educational tour in the daylight hours.

Today we are off to New Paltz NY to visit with Genevieve's family, see the wedding venue, have their engagement photos taken, and leaf peep.  The Hudson River valley area is beautiful in the fall, and if you have never been there, put it on your bucket list.  And if you have a halloween bucket list, put Eastern State Penitentiary on it.

Don't forget the Fanciful Twist halloween party this weekend!  Bye for now - I have to go spray my throat and suck on a lozenge.

  1. Lisa, I would love to do this but I am such a scaredy cat, I don't know if I can handle it! I will stick with leaf peeping, etc. Have a great weekend! :) xo
